Empowering Others

I am quite a fan of Mark Victor Hansen. He is a brilliant conservative thinker. In the book “Success Secrets of the Motivational Superstars”, he wrote a paragraph which I loved.

“I am a motivational speaker, although I’ve changed that title to use the current language which is ‘I’m a personal empowerment speaker.’ I am an enthusiastic, encouraging, life-enhancing person who wants to walk around with a smile and get everybody to be in the consciousness. In psychology language it’s called “self actualizing, fully function behavior.” That is the kind of level I’m personally subscribing and aspiring to, and I’m stimulating that in other people who are eager to be in what John Denver calls. “higher ground.”

I try to stimulate everybody to be self empowered, because if you’re personally empowered, then you can empower others. It’s always the individual who empowers a company, a family, a nation or a church.”
