I have a cute story to tell you about a friend’s little boy. When he was very little my friend made him the most beautiful French suits with the button on pants and wonderful lace collars. When he was about four, she asked him, “What kind of an Easter suit would you like to have?” He replied, “Mama, I don't want you to make me an Easter suit this year. I want a sportsy coat. I don't like to wear dresses.” That was one of the cutest statements I ever heard said about the proper timing of going to big boy clothes rather than the
gorgeous smocked and French ones for little boys.
